It is a real WebGL render, not a stock video. When you upload a photo the browser builds a depth map, converts it to a point cloud and engraves it into a 3D crystal model — the same maths our production software uses. What you turn on screen is what the laser will write.

Yes, at any time before you approve the proof, and once afterwards if we have not started engraving. After that the crystal is already written and cannot be reused.

No. Add the crystal to your cart and we email a private upload link. Your order simply waits until the photo arrives.

800 pixels on the long edge is ideal, 500 is workable, and we have rescued usable portraits from 1990s scans. Send the largest, least filtered version you have.

Real interior engraving. The point cloud occupies the whole volume of the block, which is why the image shifts as you move your head. A surface etch does not move.

Tower for a single portrait, brick for groups and landscapes, heart for weddings and memorials, cube if the crystal will sit on a rotating base, Prestige for the largest possible engraving.

Yes — up to 40 characters in four typefaces, engraved beneath the portrait. Dates, names, coordinates and short lines all work well.

No. The engraving is inside the crystal and cannot be reached. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and do not put it in a dishwasher.

Yes. Canada 5–8 days, UK and EU 6–10 days with duties prepaid, Australia and New Zealand 7–12 days. All tracked and insured.

Photograph it and email us. If it was damaged in transit we remake it and cover shipping both ways.

Free cancellation any time before engraving starts — which is the window the proof step creates. After engraving, cancellation is 50% because the crystal cannot be reused.
